I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC81409) in San Diego and co-founder of Connected ~ Seen & Heard, with over 12 years of experience in the therapy world. In that time, I have learned that one of my deepest passions is connection.  I know through my own healing journey how essential it is to experience safety, honesty, vulnerability, healthy boundaries, and compassion as you work on healing your heart, and I work really hard to create that experience with my clients. My work is influenced by the belief that safe, secure relationships are essential to our well-being. I take pride in working collaboratively with each client to support them in developing self-awareness, insight, and ultimately creating deeper connections with self and others. I hope that each person I have the honor of working with will feel empowered to make positive changes through their journey of self-discovery and renewal.

I provide individual, couples and family therapy, groups, workshops, and training.  I use Attachment Theory, somatic principles, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Humanistic Therapy to guide the therapeutic journey. My expertise is working with parents – individually and as a couple – as they navigate the experience of becoming parents, from pre-conception, through birth and child raising.  I support couples in exploring the shifts in their marriage after having children, and individuals in exploring the profound impact of becoming a parent, oftentimes including re-awakened past traumas. I also provide support in understanding family dynamics, trauma, addiction, and other trauma related issues such as relationship abuse, codependency, and attachment styles.

I am humbled by this work and truly see it as a privilege to create a space where authenticity, honesty, acceptance, and connection flourish.

If you or a loved one are looking for a San Diego therapist, I would love to connect. You can reach me via email or by phone: 847.226.5431.
