Alexis Perez, ACSW
Alexis Perez (she/her/ella) is a Spanish and English speaking Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW 103764) in San Diego. She is a proud first-generation latina graduate of California State University, Long Beach (Cal State LB). Before receiving her masters degree, Alexis served as a community health volunteer for the Peace Corps in Mozambique, Africa where she began to understand how vital community is in one feeling connected, seen, and heard. Alexis’ educational training and professional experiences cultivated her strong background in supporting adults and youth facing life challenges and transitions. This includes but is not limited to, intimate partner violence (dating & domestic violence), trauma, abuse/neglect, relationship challenges, stressful life transitions, loss and grief, and interpersonal and family conflict.
Alexis honors where each participant is in their journey. She believes that each participants’ healing journey begins with developing a stronger sense of awareness to identify their own unique needs and strengths. Alexis also believes that collaboration with her participants is key in supporting them to cultivate positive change in their lives. Alexis is honored to work alongside you to explore your strengths and actualize your growth to develop a deeper sense of purpose.
